Duhok, August 31, 2025 – The STEP Organization for Democracy and Elections participated on Sunday evening in the Fourth Youth Festival held in Duhok, coinciding with International Youth Day. The event was organized by the Duhok Youth Directorate at the Student Center Hall of the University of Duhok.

As part of the festival, STEP showcased a variety of activities designed to promote civic engagement among working youth. These included a theatrical performance, an infographic video presentation, brochure distribution, and the setup of awareness booths and panels.
The participation also highlighted the challenges facing young people with disabilities, emphasizing the need to ensure their equal rights, including social participation and other entitlements.
This initiative comes within the framework of STEP’s ongoing project to raise awareness about the Social Security Law for Workers, implemented in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO).
