STEP organized three training workshops for young journalists
The axes of the workshop were on a number of issues related to journalistic and media work, such as the press article, advocacy campaigns, the rights and duties of the journalist under the laws in force related to freedom of the press, and others.
The sessions were moderated by a number of professors specialized in freedom of expression and media work in the region, and a number of lectures were presented by a number of specialists on a number of other related topics, such as the explanation of the law provisions of the Freedom of Information Act presented by the Director of the Governorate Office Dohuk to the Human Rights Commission in the region. And another lecture was also presented on the qualities of a successful broadcaster in conducting radio and television interviews.
At the end of each workshop, participation certificates were distributed to the participants in the three workshops by the organization's management and workshop teachers
