Step Organization for Democracy and Elections organized a ceremony on the evening of May 10, 2023 to distribute a book titled (Freedom of Expression and the Press) that printed by Step within the project (Promoting Freedom of Expression and the Press). The book collected the products young journalists, both women and men in Kurdistan region
STEP organizes the event of distributing a book on freedom of expression and the press
This event included the speeches of the Director of the organization and the project manager, the representative of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, Mr. (Khoshnaf Jamil), The head of the committee for evaluating the products of journalists, Mrs. (Vian Abbas), the head of the Dohuk governorate branch of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, the representative of UPP and Al-Masala organizations.
At the end Step distributed shields of thanks and appreciation to the members of the evaluation committee, the representative of the UPP organization and the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate and distributed some prizes for the first winners of the researches and articles published in the book.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of representatives of civil society organizations, journalists and university professors
