Step Organization participates in organizing a workshop in cooperation with UNAMI Step Organization for Democracy and Elections in cooperation with the Shams Network for Election Monitoring and the Kurdish Election Institute and in support by the United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) participated in organizing workshop in Duhok for a period of three days (21-23/11/2022) about the weak participation of the national minorities, religious, and people with special needs in the elections process

The three organizations presented their presentations, and lectures and led discussion panels to diagnose the causes of electoral reluctance and to suggest solutions and proposals for them.
Worthy to mention that 40 representatives of NGOs and unions of the mentioned groups from the four governorates of the Kurdistan region participated in the workshop
