Enhance and expand voter participation in Dohuk Governorate for the Parliament elections on 10/10/2021

The project to enhance and expand voter participation was considered as a continuation of the first project funded by the same specialized international organization, which started to be implemented from 1/2/2021 and continued until 30/11/2021 (for a period of ten months). And included many activities such as: 1- Mobile Awareness Teams, and distribution Awareness publications. 2- Television program, radio program. 3-Mobile radio. 4- Conducting live broadcast interviews with active personalities. 5- publishing a graphic video on a large screen in the city center of Dohuk. 6-Awareness seminars for electoral process partners. 7- also an organized awareness campaign through social media.

Electoral Process Support Project in Iraq

This project was implemented in Nineveh Governorate for a period of three and a half months from 23/6/2021 to 9/10/2021, that funded from the United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) and UNDP. Which include the following activities; 1 Awareness sessions with the electoral process partners. 2- Mobile vehicle for radio electoral awareness. 3- interviews with active personalities. 4- Produce graphic video about receiving the voter’s card and publishing it on a large screen inside the city of Mosul. 5- Conducting a radio program on voter education. 6- Establishing a call center to receive inquiries from voters from Nineveh Governorate. 7- And organizing an effective awareness campaign on social media

Electoral Process Support Project

This project was implemented for a period of three and a half months, from 23/6/2021 to 9/10/2021 in Kurdistan Region, and was funded by the United Nations Mission in Iraq UNAMI and UNDP. That included many activities, and the most important was; 1- The establishment of three communication centers for each governorate of the region, to receive inquiries from voters that related to the electoral process. 2- Create an application on the phone called “step.” to answer 40 questions related to the entirety of the electoral process. 3- Making an art competition to select a number of short films and art paintings expressing the right to vote, which were displayed in an exhibition in Erbil. 4- And, awareness campaign on social media.

This project was implemented by STEP organization in Erbil governorate, in three months for the period from 1/7/2021 until 30/9/2021, with the support and funding of an international organization. Which it included holding three conferences with partners of the electoral process, in cooperation and coordination with the Office of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Erbil Governorate
